논문 심사 규정

1. 한국막학회지(멤브레인) (이하 “회지”라 함)에 투고되는 논문(연구논문, 총설)의 심사 및 채택은 본 규정에 따른다. “단신(Notes)”과 “논평(Comments)”도 논문으로 취급한다.

2. 논문의 심사는 심사위원 3인에게 의뢰한다. 심사위원은 논문의 전공분야를 편집이사가 분류하여 편집이사의 추천에 의해 편집위원장이 위촉하며 그 명단은 비공개로 한다. 심사위원의 자격은 대학교 전임강사 이상, 연구소 선임연구원 이상, 기타는 동등자격 이상으로 한다. 단, 논문의 저자와 동일 소속기관의 심사위원에게는 심사를 의뢰하지 않는다.

3. 모든 논문은 심사를 거쳐 이의 게재여부를 결정하며, 교정은 편집위원장이 그 게재여부를 결정한다.

4. 심사결과는 “채택가”, “수정 후 재심” 그리고 “채택 불가”의 3등급으로 구분한다.

(1) “채택가”로 판정된 논문은 “무수정”과 “수정후 채택”으로 분류한다. “무수정”으로 판정된 논문은 이를 수정없이 채택한다. “수정후 채택”으로 판정된 논문은 심사위원의 지적사항을 저자가 직접 수정한 후 편집이사가 이를 확인하여 채택한다.

(2) “수정 후 재심”으로 판정된 논문은 심사위원의 지적사항을 저자가 직접 수정한 후 재심하여 편집이사가 판정한다.

(3) 논문이 논문투고 규정에 맞지 않을 경우 이를 “게재불가”로 처리할 수 있다.

5. 심사내용은 저자에게만 통보하고 공표하지 않는다.

6. 논문의 내용이 다음의 어느 항목에 해당된다고 심사위원이 인정할 경우 “채택불가”로 판정하며 그 이유를 구체적으로 심사결과에 지적하여야 한다.

(1) 독창성이 뚜렷하지 아니한 경우

(2) 논문의 내용이 합리적이지 못한 경우

(3) 저자가 연구한 결과와 타인이 이미 연구한 결과 사이에 뚜렷한 차이가 없는 경우

(4) 수정 요청을 받은 논문을 2개월이 경과하여도 수정하여 제출하지 않은 경우(단, 편집위원회와 협의하여 연장된 경우는 제외)

(5) 기타 본 회지에 게재하기에 부적당하다고 판정되는 경우

7. 논문이 투고 규정에 어긋나는 경우 편집이사는 이를 접수하지 아니할 수 있다. 논문의 제1저자와 교신저자가 본 회의 회원이 아닌 경우에도 편집이사는 이를 접수하지 아니할 수 있다.

8. 영어로 작성된 논문이 문맥, 문법적인 결함이 있어 이의 해독이 곤란할 경우 편집이사 또는 심사위원은 저자에게 수정을 요구하거나 국문으로 작성 후 재투고 할것을 권할 수 있다.

9. 심사위원 3인의 심사위원 중 1명만 “채택불가”로 판정하였을 경우 “수정후재심”으로 최종판정하여 투고자에게 보완논문을 투고하도록 한다. 3인의 심사위원 중 2명 이상의 심사위원이 “채택불가”판정하였을 경우 “채택불가”로 최종판정하여 재투고하도록 투고자에게 통보한다.

10. 심사위원은 심사 위촉 후 15일 이내에 위촉받은 논문을 심사하고, 판정결과와 심사평을 원고와 함께 본 학회에 반송하여야 한다.

11. 본 회는 심사위원의 심사평가를 받은 후 7일 이내에 그 사본을 저자에게 발송한다.

12. 심사위원 위촉시 약간의 심사료를 지불할 수 있다. 심사료는 편집이사가 추천하며 매년 이사회에서 결정한다.

13. 본 회는 심사완료되어 게재예정인 논문의 저자에게 심사완료 10일 이내에 게재예정사항을 알려야 한다.

14. 이 규정은 1992년 1월 1일부터 시행한다.

Manuscript Review Guidelines

1. Examination and adoption of the paper (research paper, review) according to the present provision of the Membrane Society of Korea (Membrane) (hereinafter “Journal”). “Notes” and “comments” are also deal with paper

2. The manuscript review will be evaluated by 3 reviewers. The reviewers are classified and recommended by an editor-in-chief, appointed by the editors, and the list of the reviewers shall not be revealed. The qualifications of the reviewers are an executive instructor and a senior researcher in research institute above and others shall have the same qualification as the ones above.

3. All manuscripts shall be published through the review process whether the manuscripts will be accepted or rejected, and the editor will make the final decision about the revision.

4. The review result shall be classified into 3 categories including “Accepted”, “Review after revision”, and “Rejected.”

(1) The “Accepted” manuscripts shall be classified into “No revision” and “Accepted after revision.” The “No revision” manuscripts shall be accepted without editing. The “Accepted after revision” manuscripts shall be accepted by confirmation of an editorial director after making correction about the reviewer’s comments by authors.

(2) The “Review after revision” manuscripts shall be reevaluated by an executive director after making corrections to the reviewer’s comments by the authors.

(3) If the paper does not match the paper submission provisions, it can be processed as a “reject”.

5. The contents of the review shall be informed to the author and shall not be revealed.

6. If the reviewers admit that the contents of the manuscripts belonged to any category, it will be classified into “Rejected” and the reason will be pointed out in the detail of the review comments.

(1) If the manuscripts does not have originality

(2) If the contents of the manuscripts are not reasonable

(3) If there is no significant difference between the results from the author and others

(4) If the revised manuscript is not submitted within two months after receiving the modification request (except when extended through consultation with the Editorial Board)

(5) Other reasons if the manuscripts are not proper to publish in this journal

7. If the manuscripts are not following the review policy, an editorial director would not allow the submission. Also, if the 1st author and corresponding author is not a member of the Membrane Society of Korea, an editorial director would not allow the submission.

8. If the submitted manuscripts have contextual and grammatical defects and there are difficulties in interpretation, an editorial director or reviewers could ask a correction to the author or resubmission after being translated into Korean.

9. If only a reviewer of the 3 reviewers evaluated into “Rejected”, it is finally evaluated as the “Review after revision” and advised to resubmit as a revised manuscript to the author. If 2 or more reviewers of the 3 reviewers evaluated into “Rejected”, it is finally reported as the “Rejected” to the author and asked to resubmit.

10. The reviewers should evaluate the appointed manuscript within 15 days after the review request and should send the review result and review comment to the Membrane Society of Korea with the manuscript.

11. This society shall send the copy within 7 days after receiving the review result of the reviewers.

12. When the reviewers are appointed, they are possible to payis possible to pay. The review fee is set every year in the board meeting by recommendation of the editorial director.

13. This society should notify the proposed publication information to the author of the “Accepted” manuscript within 10 days after the completion of the evaluation.

14. The policy will be effective from January 1, 1992.
