논문 발행 규정

제1조 (학회지의 발간) 본 학회는 분리막 분야의 연구와 학술 활동의 증진을 위하여 정기적인 학술지로서 한국막학회지(멤브레인)(이하 ‘막학회지’라 함)을 발간한다. 발간 횟수는 연 4회 이상을 원칙으로 하며, 발간일은 연 4회의 경우 3월 1일, 6월 1일, 9월 1일, 12월 1일로 한다.

제2조 (논문의 요건)

1. 논문은 분리막 소재 및 공정 분야와 관련된 연구를 원칙으로 하며, 타 학술지나 잡지 등에 발표되지 않은 것이어야 한다.

2. 막학회지의 논문은 그 성격에 따라 연구논문, 총설, 단신, 논평으로 분류한다.

제3조 (원고 작성 및 투고) 원고의 작성과 투고는 본 학회의 [논문 투고 규정]을 준수하여야 한다.

제4조 (원고의 접수)

1. 원고는 수시로 접수하며, 접수일은 원고가 본 학회 투고시스템에 투고하는 날로 한다.

2. [논문 투고 규정]에 맞지 않는 원고는 접수를 거부할 수 있으며, 학회는 원고 반환의 책임을 지지 아니한다.

제5조 (편집위원회) 학회지 발간과 관련된 제반 업무를 담당하기 위한 편집위원회의 구성은 본 학회의 [편집위원회 규정]에 따른다.

제6조 (논문의 심사)

1. 투고 논문은 접수일로부터 20일 이내에 심사를 의뢰한다.

2. 논문 심사와 관련된 제반 사항은 본 학회의 [논문심사규정]에 따른다.

3. 논문 심사 결과를 교신저자에게 통보한 후 2개월이 경과하도록 수정본이 도착하지 않을 경우에는 투고를 취소 처리할 수 있다. 단, 특별한 사정이 있는 경우 편집위원회와 협의하여 그 기간을 연장할 수 있다.

제7조 (논문의 게재)

1. 최종 심사 결과 게재가 확정된 경우, 논문의 교신저자는 최종원고파일을 학회에 제출하여야 한다.

2. 심사 완료된 논문은 원칙적으로 총설을 우선으로 게재하되 논문 심사가 완료된 순서로 하여 발간한다. 해당 호에 발간할 논문의 선정은 논문집 발간일 15일 이전에 편집이사회를 통하여 결정한다.

3. 논문이 학술지에 게재 시 저작권은 학회가 갖게 된다.

제8조 (기타) 본 규정에 명시되지 않은 사항은 편집위원회의 결정에 따른다.

Regulations for Journal Publications

(July 10, 2025, Formalization) ( June 4, 2026, Amendment)

Article 1 (Publication of the Journal) This society publishes the Journal of the Membrane Society of Korea (referred to as “Membrane Journal”) as a regular academic journal to promote research and academic activities in the field of membranes. The journal is regularly published at least four times a year. For four issues per year, the publication dates shall be March 1, June 1, September 1, and December 1.

Article 2 (Requirements for Manuscripts)

1. Manuscripts shall primarily be related to the research in the field of membrane materials and processes for separation and must not have been previously published in other academic journals or magazines.

2. Manuscripts in the Membrane Journal are classified into research papers, reviews, short communications, and commentaries, according to their nature.

Article 3 (Manuscript Preparation and Submission) The preparation and submission of manuscripts must comply with the [Manuscript Submission Guidelines] of this society.

Article 4 (Manuscript Reception)

1. Manuscripts are accepted at any time. The reception date shall be the date at which the manuscript is submitted to the submission system of this society.

2. Manuscripts that do not comply with the [Manuscript Submission Guidelines] may be rejected, and the society shall not be responsible for returning the manuscript.

Article 5 (Editorial Board) The composition of the Editorial Board, which is responsible for all matters related to journal publication, shall follow the [Editorial Board Regulations] of this society.

Article 6 (Manuscript Review)

1. Submitted manuscripts shall be sent for review within 20 days of the reception date.

2. All matters related to manuscript review shall follow the [Manuscript Review Regulations] of this society.

3. If the revised manuscript does not arrive within two months after the review results are notified to the corresponding author, the submission may be canceled. However, under special circumstances, the period may be extended through consultation with the Editorial Board.

Article 7 (Manuscript Publication)

1. If publication is confirmed as a result of the final review, the corresponding author of the manuscript must submit the final manuscript file to the society.

2. Reviewed manuscripts shall, in principle, be published starting with reviews, followed by the order in which manuscript reviews were completed. The selection of manuscripts for publication in a given issue shall be determined through an editorial board meeting no later than 15 days prior to the journal's publication date.

3. Upon the publication of a manuscript in the journal, the copyright shall belong to the society.

Article 8 (Miscellaneous) Matters not specified in these regulations shall be determined by the Editorial Board.
